This gorgeous 70m2 apartment, capable of accommodating up to a maximum of 3 guests, is located on the second floor of an elegant building (with elevator) in the splendid San Giovanni district.
The apartment is located just steps away from the Palazzo del Laterano and from the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, which after San Pedro is the most important Basilica in Rome and obligatory visit. During the Middle Ages the Palazzo del Laterano was the Popes’ residence. The Basilica di San Lorenzo is the fusion of two churches from the 4th and 5th centuries respectively and is famous for its mosaics, its stunning columns, and its Cosmati-style paved floors. The apartment is situated a stone’s throw from numerous places of interest; for example, in just a few minutes you can reach the local, open-air market, the Via Appia Nuova (a renowned shopping street), the famous Via Sannio market, and the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, where you will also find the Re di Roma subway station where you can hop on the A Line.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2011. It is extremely tastefully decorated, with a careful choice of colours and materials that combine to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. The doorway leads into a bright, spacious living room which features a dining table, two sofas (one of which can be transformed into a large and spacious single sofa-bed) and an LCD television – the perfect place to unwind. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen is separated from the living room area. The large bedroom features a comfortable double bed and wardrobe where you can store your belongings. From here you can also access the small balcony. Finally, the tastefully-decorated bathroom contains a box shower.

Check-in is between 11:00 and 20:00.
Check-in between 20:00 and 23:00 will incur an additional charge of €20, whilst check-in after 23:00 will incur an additional €30 charge.

The owner does not accept arrivals on the following dates: 25 and 31 December and on Easter Sunday.

The service at this apartment was excellent and when one of us had our bag stolen we were looked after very well. Apartment is excellent value and was a very good base to visit all main sights. Metro service and buses from here also excellent though we managed perfectly well on foot which gives you a great feel for this fabulous city.

We were for a long weekend in this very very beautiful apartment and have thoroughly enjoyed the area. We can very well this apartment and the area empfehlen...die next trip is already planned!

(Well located apartment but dark 2nd floor) and very noisy (boules quiès are recommended!). Lounge and room redone but bathroom and somewhat antiquated kitchen.
